Automations

What should we automate first, and what is it worth?

NOT BUILT

This screen does not exist yet. Nothing on this screen is computed and there is no data behind it. What follows is a description of the screen, written so the shape of the product can be read - it is not a result. The only figures on this page are the container's own event and case totals in the bar above; nothing below them has been measured, because nothing has been taken.

What this screen will do

Process mining that stops at a diagnosis is half a product. This screen will rank the steps and handoffs in this process by how automatable they are, and put a number on each one, so what comes out is a decision rather than an observation.

What it will show when it exists

  • Automation candidates ranked on volume, repetition, how rule-determined the step is and how much it varies, with every row drilling to its cases.
  • What each one is worth in hours returned and in money, with the money assumption shown on the card rather than buried.
  • Why a step is a candidate, in a sentence. High volume with low variability and a rule-determined outcome is automatable; high variability is not, and the screen will say which it is.
  • What stands in the way, stated rather than implied.

What it will need first

Agreed rate assumptions, and the automation and return-on-investment scan that is already one of the AI Jobs promoted to a screen of its own.
