Process Maps

Three views of one log. The classic map takes a case notion and shows the flow of one object type; the train map shows every object type at once and the waits between them; this one draws the same process as a standard diagram.

The notation a business audience reads, with a swim lane for each value of whichever attribute you lane by. It is worked out from the log rather than drawn by hand, so it also says how far it can be trusted.
